How to Navigate the Developmental Disabilities Program "You're the Driver" to
provide information to each person and families/guardians to heighten understanding of
all services available and rules/regulations about services. This event will be
coordinated with Area 3 APD office, with involvement of Family Care Council.
- July 28th, 2006 10:00AM to 11:30AM - Tacachale will be providing another educational opportunity forum to share information about supports available in the community. We have invited licensed mental health counselors and certified behavior analysts to discuss provision of these Medicaid Waiver services. Using a panel discussion format, each professional will provide a brief description of how they provide these services, including process for referrals, authorization, and other logistics, along with examples of services provided. Without breaking confidentiality, success stories will be shared to provide a good overview about how these services can help individuals succeed in community settings. We plan to include at least 45 minutes for these experts to field questions from participants. Invited providers include Astrid Hall, Paul Redline, and Tom Moore.
