Welcome to iBudget Florida! It's a new and better way for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities to manage the Medicaid waiver system for people with developmental disabilities. iBudget Florida gives APD customers more control and flexibility to choose services that are important to them, while helping the agency to stay within its Medicaid waiver appropriation. Explore this website to find out why iBudget Florida is a simpler, more equitable, self-directed, and sustainable system.
The final component of iBudget Florida will be implemented in areas 1 and 2 by April 1. APD customers in these areas have been enjoying the flexibility of the program since October 1, 2011. Consumer-Directed Care Plus (CDC+) participants in areas 1 and 2 will be enrolled into iBudget Florida at a later time. Read more…
APD is revising the schedule that will determine when other customers throughout the state will be brought into iBudget Florida. The schedule will be announced soon.
We've made several changes to this website to make it even easier to navigate. The Providers/WSCs page is now called the Users page, iBudget Florida Basics is now simply called Basics, and the iBudget Florida In-Depth page has been renamed Rules & Regs. We hope these changes help you to enjoy and benefit from using the site.
Several documents have been added to the Users page to help those that use the iBudget Florida application, including new quick reference guides for waiver support coordinators and APD area office employees, and an updated user guide for WSCs.
Please check this website for further announcements. If you have questions, contact us or call your APD area office.
